Export or Delete Your Data
FitKeep is built to keep a private, long-term record of your training — and that means your data stays yours. You can download everything at any time, or remove your account entirely.
Download all your FIT files
You can export every FIT file you’ve uploaded or synced as a single ZIP archive:
- Open Settings → Data
- Select Download ZIP under “Download All FIT Files”
- Save the archive — it contains your original FIT files, ready to import elsewhere or keep as a personal backup
Because FitKeep stores your original files, the export is a complete copy of your activity data, not a re-encoded version.
Your data is encrypted at rest
All FIT files are encrypted on FitKeep’s servers using AES-256-GCM, so your activity data is protected even at rest. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
Delete your account
If you want to leave FitKeep, you can permanently delete your account from Settings → Data. Deleting your account removes:
- All your uploaded FIT files
- All your activity data and best efforts
- Your account profile and settings
- All other data associated with your account
This action cannot be undone and your data cannot be recovered, so download your FIT files first if you want to keep a copy. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
Find and remove duplicates
If you’ve imported activities from more than one source — for example, a Garmin sync and a manual bulk export — you may end up with two copies of the same workout. Open Settings → Data → Find duplicates to see any groups of activities that started at the same time. FitKeep shows you the metric differences between copies so you can decide which one to keep and delete the other. See Find and Remove Duplicate Activities.
Reprocess your activities
Settings → Data also has a Reprocess all files option. This re-runs FitKeep’s parsing and analysis on every activity you’ve uploaded. Use it if you notice that older activities are missing data that newer ones have — for example after an update to how FitKeep calculates best efforts or elevation.
